Do K9s magically learn these commands?
The answer to that question is
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
So, how do I get my doggo to listen?
Train him
How?
See, I am not a certified dog trainer, although I can give a few tips and suggestions on training a dog and how I'm training my dog.
It's not easy but it's not that hard either.
The most important command is "SIT".
The command most trainers start with is "SIT".
So, how to teach a dog to sit on command?
Fetch some treats and sniff out a place to start training your dog.
First, get your pupper to pay attention to you, then hold the treato slightly above his/her proboscis (snout). Remember not to hold it too high so that he/she does not jump.
Your dog's instinct should tell him/her to sit as soon and as he/she sits let him/her munch on the treat.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a pup. and that's kind of the same thing!
